How To Dress Like Adam & Barbara Maitland
What is Beetlejuice?
Beetlejuice is a 1988 American comedy horror film directed by Tim Burton, produced by The Geffen Film Company and distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures. The plot revolves around a recently deceased young couple (Alec Baldwin and Geena Davis) who become ghosts haunting their former home, and an obnoxious, devious demon named Betelgeuse (pronounced ‘Beetlejuice’) (Michael Keaton), from the Netherworld who tries to drive away the new inhabitants permanently.
The film was released on March 30, 1988, received positive reviews and grossed $73.7 million at the US box office, which increased to $76.1 million when adjusted for inflation. Beetlejuice has since developed a cult following from the many fans of both the film and its lead actor Michael Keaton. A sequel was planned but never released because of several creative differences between Keaton and Burton in its development stage. A musical adaptation opened on Broadway in April 2012, with most of the original cast reprising their roles.Check Price on Amazon
